Conventional wired earphones transmit high-frequency (HF) microwaves along the body to the ear, increasing exposure to high power levels (W/kg). Bluetooth headsets, which use microwaves at 2.4 GHz, further increase this risk.

With the Aircom A3 ergonomic and sporty headsets, this exposure is greatly reduced thanks to a specific plastic tube, matching the color of the headset (white, yellow, or pink), which transmits only audible sound, without HF microwaves.

Mobile phones and conventional hands-free kits are known to increase microwave exposure to various parts of the body, especially the head, due to the conductivity of the wire. Although this conductivity partially reduces the power, measurements show that it is not enough.

The AIRCOM A3 stereo headset can reduce exposure to HF microwaves by more than 99%, according to laboratory tests carried out by Unical Enterprise Inc. (USA) – (2002 SAR assessment report, SAR between 0.0009 and 0.0023 mW/g).

It also reduces the low frequency (LF) diffusion thanks to a special acoustic system with integrated electronic amplifier. It works on the same principle as the stethoscope used by doctors, using a soft plastic tube to transmit only the sound.

The latest generation of AIRCOM sound amplification technology guarantees crystal-clear and very clear sound, improving understanding while providing optimal listening comfort.

The two ergonomic earpieces, curved and topped with a small earpiece matching the color of the earpiece, fit perfectly in the ear. The black tip also acts as an insulator against outside noise. Three sizes of black tips are provided, suitable even for children. It is recommended to protect the hearing of children and adolescents from an early age, ideally limiting phone use before the age of 15.

The elegant and robust design also ensures high mechanical resistance.

A mini on/off switch with integrated microphone is present on the kit's cable. It allows you to:

• Turn the microphone on or off,

• Take or end a call by holding the switch for two seconds,

• Quickly activate the mute function during a call and reactivate it by pressing it again,

• Control music playback directly from the earpiece.

The built-in microphone works even if it is not placed directly next to the mouth, ensuring clear conversation.
