The danger of blue light from phone, TV, and computer screens is a topic that is increasingly concerning people nowadays. This light is emitted from the screens of our electronic devices and can negatively affect our health.
Blue light can disrupt our sleep by suppressing the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates our sleep cycle. This can lead to sleep disorders such as insomnia and chronic fatigue. Additionally, blue light can also cause eye strain, headaches, blurry vision, and dry eyes.
There are ways to minimize exposure to blue light, such as using screen filters or glasses that block this light. Applications such as Night Shift for iPhone and f.lux for computers can also reduce the amount of blue light emitted from our screens.
