Modern flat screens (PC, TV, tablet, smartphone) emit light with a strong blue light component of short wavelengths.

Scientific studies have shown that this light can damage the retina of the eyes.

Artificial light with a high blue light content strongly influences hormonal balance and can lead to sleep disturbances (disruption of melatonin production).

PRiSMA EASY filter lenses have specially calculated properties to protect your eyes. In addition, they safely filter out the high blue component of light. They are ideal when playing video games or watching TV and want less color distortion and greater light transmission. However, the protection is a little less strong (90%).

PRiSMA EASY lenses are high protection but a bit lower in filtration than PRO and LiTE. On the other hand, they allow a more varied use in front of the TV, video games, smartphones and tablets and they are more comfortable for the eye, especially in the evening. They have better color recognition and more contrast.

• HEVL attenuation: HEVL (High energy visible light in English or high energy visible light in French) and blue light are used as synonyms for the 400nm - 550nm wavelength range.
• Transmission: The transmission indicates the light transmission of the filters. The higher the transmission, the more light can pass through the glasses.
• Color fidelity: Filtering short wavelength parts results in color shift. The higher the transmission, the lower the color change.
• Melatonin suppression: Melatonin release is suppressed in the evening and at night by light sources high HEVL content.
• Formation of oxygen radicals: Short waves and medium (weak) waves cause the formation of oxygen radicals potentially harmful in the tissues.
• UV400 filter: The law prescribes that lenses must completely filter short-wave radiation below 400 nm (=UV).

Only high quality materials according to standards are used for all Prisma® lenses. All PRiSMA® glasses are CE certified and meet the requirements of all international standards.

All frames and lenses are impact resistant, durable and treated with an anti-reflective coating. The disturbances produced by light reflections are reduced, resulting in better contrast.

The glasses provide good UV protection with "UV-400" protection. These glasses are ideal as sunglasses for medium or low light levels.

EASY lens glasses types can be used depending on the type of lighting.

EASY color is not ideal for use in road traffic. The ideal for day and night driving is to choose the models DRIVE NIGHT & DAY.

Cleaning and care:
A microfiber cloth is included for lens cleaning. Also, hot water with a little washing up liquid can be used. Dry with a soft cloth (like microfiber cloth) to avoid scratches. To avoid premature wear of lens treatment, do not use paper towels or other wood fiber products on lenses.

Warranty:PRiSMA® lenses have a two-year warranty on material and workmanship. Regular use of glasses can produce very fine scratches on the lenses. This is normal wear and tear and does not warrant running the warranty.
